I’d love to add forget to my forgive but I can’t do that if every time the wind blows it brings with it the familiar ache of what was left behind…the memory of the tornado that ripped my world apart.
Those who seek forgiveness only to assuage their shame deserve none. It’s entirely selfish and detestable.
